ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility & Inclusion
The MCC believes that everyone should have equal access to our productions, programs and employment opportunities, and that our diverse community should be reflected in all that we do. We strive to be accessible and inclusive to all, and we are committed to identifying and removing barriers to access through a range of services.
For guests who are hard of hearing or deaf
Assistive Listening Devices
Listening devices are available on loan for any MCC production on a first-come-first-served basis.
For guests with restricted mobility
We offer accessible and mobility seating in Rotary Hall and Huronia Players. Accessible seats are reserved for those using wheelchairs. Please contact the Box Office to reserve.
The MCC also features special-access washrooms, motorized door controls and an elevator.
For guests who require support persons
Support persons are welcome to provide services or assistance with communication, mobility, personal care, medical needs or access to our facilities. Support persons must have a valid ticket to performances and events.
Please contact the Box Office or Siobhan O'Halloran at operations@midlandculturalcentre.com or 705-527-4420 ext. 3404 for any Accessibility questions/concerns, or to reserve an assistive listening device.
For guests with scent allergies or sensitivities
While we encourage our guests to refrain from wearing heavily scented products, we cannot guarantee a scent-free environment. Guests with allergies or sensitivities should come prepared for any impacts this may create.
