Midland Cultural Centre Recruits Local Entrepreneurs

Ivars Rasa - Executive Chef

The Midland Cultural Centre has tapped local entrepreneurial talent to add culinary arts to the roster of great talent to be showcased beginning in the spring of 2012. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Ivars Rasa and Kim Masin, former co-owners and founders of The Library Restaurant, have agreed to manage this new jewel in Midland,s cultural mosaic.

Ivars Rasa, as Executive Chef, will be responsible for all management, operations and food-related activities of the Café Roxy and the executive kitchen. An honours graduate of the Stratford Chefs School, Rasa has worked and studied with many of Ontario’s leading chefs, won accolades from Toronto Life and the Toronto Star and been featured in several local newspapers and magazines.
