Kim Masin will act as the Manager of the MCC overseeing the day-to-day administration and bookings of the centre. Kim is a graduate of Carleton University, a published journalist and former assistant editor at Canadian Living magazine. Her years as the former owner/manager at The Library Restaurant brings a unique skill set to co- ordinate, manage and execute events for the new MCC event centre. Kim will be the main contact person to book weddings, corporate events and manage the many volunteers required to run this state-of-the-art facility.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of this dynamic new cultural centre. It's going to be a stunning state-of-the-art space to showcase the depth of talent we have in the area," stated Masin. "I look forward to working with Huronia Players and Quest Art School and Gallery to bring more arts to our community."

Both Rasa and Masin understand how important philanthropy is to the Midland region; Rasa recently raised over $5,000 for a cancer fundraiser in Toronto and Masin served for several years on the Board of Big Brother Big Sisters. The couple is eager to help create opportunities to connect with the community through events held at the centre.
